Job Title:         Therapeutic Support Worker (Children’s Residential Service)

Location:         Wolverhampton, WV10

Salary:              £23,800 to £25,300 plus £60 per sleep in.

  • Sleep ins paid at £60 with a potential of earning £28,120 - £29,620 if you complete an average of 6 sleeps ins a month.
  • £1000 refer a friend scheme (paid on completion of their probation)
  • £1000 bonus on completion of Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) within agreed timescale

Hours:         Average 40 hours per week

Contract:     Permanent

Job Summary:

As a Therapeutic Support Worker:

  • You will carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual support to the children and young people in our care.
  • Record and complete relevant paperwork and electronic records and where appropriate administer medication.
  • You will create positive relationships with the children & young people, meeting their needs and always safeguarding them

Essential Skills:

  • UK Full Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication
  • Basic Computer Skills Essential

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in Residential childcare (preferred, but not essential)
  • Qualified - Hold a Diploma Level 3 in diploma for residential childcare or equivalent (preferred, but not essential)
